The journey began with a desire to recreate the expressive, soulful quality of clothing once made in Japan during its golden era of manufacturing. To achieve this, Duluxeware work's hand-in-hand with artisans across the country, developing original fabrics using traditional methods preserved over generations.

After the Second World War, Japan’s clothing industry flourished, rising alongside the nation’s recovery. Yet as production shifted overseas and speed overtook soul, something essential was lost. The meaning of “Made in Japan” faded, and the quiet pride of domestic craftsmanship grew rare. Deluxe Wear was born in 2005 to revive that meaning.
